About Me

ABOUT

Yoga found me more than 20 years ago.

It helped me to heal on many different layers

(and continues to do so).

The more I explore this beautiful practice,

the better I get to know myself

and adapt kindly and compassionately to

the changes that move through me.

I invite students to embrace

themselves in this way too. 

 This inspired me to dive deeper and

complete my 200 hour YTT

with Leanne Kitteridge 

of Shibui Yoga in 2014.

I continue to practice, study and take 

many workshops and training including

Yin Yoga, Private Client with Lauren Roegele,

Restorative with Kim Sheridan

and many trainings with Natalie Rousseau. 

My practice and teaching has been

also influenced by Nicole Marcia

who offered her knowledge

 in Trauma Informed Practices.

In 2022, I Completed 300 hour YTT

with Janet Stone and

50 hour Pranayama & Respiratory Sciences

with Julia McCabe.

I am eternally grateful for

these teachers and so, so many more that

have helped guide me on my journey.

I can’t say enough about Laura as a yoga instructor. She has done an amazing job with our seniors yoga group over the past few years. How far we have progressed is so impressive and we are doing things we once thought impossible. Laura is so encouraging and works with us, accommodating our “can’t do it” areas rather than pushing us past our abilities. She also spends extra time on “age appropriate “ poses such as balancing poses and poses that help with back pain issues. She starts out each class with an inspirational reading and a gentle progression of poses. The class is not too serious- we are not afraid to laugh at ourselves but are very supportive of each other. Laura works hard to maintain a positive atmosphere in the class. I highly recommend her as a yoga instructor.
